Debbie Pacheco

Debbie Pacheco is a journalist and audio producer with 15 years of experience creating award-winning content. She’s worked as a producer and showrunner on several narrative non-fiction and interview podcasts for major clients, such as USG (Universal), Lionsgate, Audible, and various foundations and think tanks in North America. Before that, she spent over a decade as a producer at CBC on national radio programs like q, Day 6, Out in the Open, and was a part of the team that revamped Canada Reads into a multi-media entity, the first year of which won a silver at the New York Festivals Radio Awards - losing gold to the Howard Stern Show. Debbie is an Arthur F. Burns Fellow (2015) and got her Master’s in Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson).
